Create your wallet

Cardano (Eternl)

Follow these steps to create your wallet:

Step 1: Start your Eternl browser extension.

Step 2: Click on Add wallet.

Step 4: Enter a wallet name and create a strong spending password. Click Save to secure your wallet's settings.

Step 5: Specify the number of accounts you wish to create within your Eternl wallet.

A wallet in Eternl can have up to 24 accounts. Each account can be delegated to a different staking pool.

Step 6: To ensure the security of your wallet, please store your Secret Recovery Phrase safely, and confirm.

Step 7: Done! Your wallet is now successfully created and secured. Welcome to your Eternl Home Interface!

Cardano (Nami)

Follow these steps to create your wallet:

Step 1: Start your Nami browser extension.

Step 2: Click on New wallet and make sure no one is watching the screen.

Step 3: To ensure the security of your wallet, please store your Secret Recovery Phrase safely, and verify it.

Step 4: Enter a wallet name and create a strong spending password. Click Create to finalize your wallet's settings.

Step 5: Done! Your wallet is now successfully created and secured. Click on Close, then open the Nami extension to access your Nami Home Interface.

Shimmer

Follow these steps to create your wallet:

Step 1: Start your MetaMask browser extension.

Step 2: Click on Create a new wallet.

Connect to the Network & TangleSwap

Cardano (Eternl)

Step 1: Ensure your wallet is set as the DApp Account and verify that the icon in the top right corner turns green. 🟢

1. To do this, click the icon in the top right corner.

2. Then, select Connect As DApp Account.

3. Verify that the icon turns green. 🟢

Step 2: Find your way to the Tangleship and click Jump aboard The Tangleship. 🛸

Step 3: Connect your wallet to TangleSwap on Cardano Mainnet. Please make sure you maintain a minimum balance of 10 ADA in your wallet at all times, to avoid any issues with transactions.

To connect your wallet with both the ShimmerEVM Mainnet and TangleSwap, follow these steps:

Step 2: Connect your wallet to TangleSwap.

Step 5: Click on Switch to Shimmer.

Cardano (Eternl)

Eternl is also available for iOS and Android, following a similar onboarding process to desktop browsers.

• Install Eternl for iOS.
• Install Eternl for Android.

Cardano (Nami)

Nami is not available on mobile. If you require a mobile Cardano wallet, you might want to explore other options.

Shimmer

MetaMask is also available for iOS and Android, following a similar onboarding process to desktop browsers.

• Install MetaMask for iOS.
• Install MetaMask for Android.

Troubleshooting

Oops, you ventured into uncharted territory and found your wallet connection timed out while trying to connect to TangleSwap.

Cause 🚩
Connection timeouts typically arise from conflicts with other wallet extensions in your browser (such as Phantom, Core Wallet, or some other specific wallets).

Solution ✅
Investigate each of your browser wallet extensions. Disable the Read and change site data - On all sites option, setting it to When you click the extension (see screenshot below), or ensure that your troublemaking extension cannot Read and change site data at least not on TangleSwap.
